Who is Jesus Christ? Many reduce Him to a teacher or moral idealist, but Mark 1:21–28 will not allow that. The only right response to the One whose word disrupts the ordinary, conquers the enemy, and awakens holy awe is to submit and worship Him as the eternal King of kings and the glorious Son of God.
BIG IDEA: Jesus’ word is not ordinary teaching but redeeming power; a word that conquers darkness and arrests the heart in holy awe.
